Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas tells the eventful story of rock-and-roll. The rock memorabilia in the lobby perimeter displays signed guitars that used to belong to famous rock stars, various guitar outfits and a tribute-corner to Kurt Cobain. The hotel's rooms have the biggest screened TV sets in town, and offer several special music programs. The hotel features a large show room of 1,200 people capacity, The Joint, that frequently hosts rock stars and bands in live concerts.
A rather sad fact mentioned in the hotel's history book is the death of the Who's bassist, John Entwistle, in one of the rooms at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas.
