More than 3,000 surface professionals attended this year’s Surface Fabrication & Design Expo, which showcased the latest in materials, tools and equipment for fabricators, most of whom have direct ties to the kitchen and bath industry.

ValCom Inc., a Las Vegas-based entertainment production company, welcomed the new Las Vegas production "The Phantom of the Opera" to their state-of-the-art staging and production facility for pre-production rehearsals before the shows opened at the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino.
The spectacular all-new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's worldwide musical phenomenon "The Phantom of the Opera" is set to open June of 2006 as a permanent theatrical installation on the Las Vegas Strip. "The Phantom of the Opera" held pre-production rehearsals for the two months at ValCom Inc. studios to rehearse the staging and production of the highly anticipated show.

This year at the JCK Show - Las Vegas show, the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) will host the largest Israel Diamond Pavilion ever, with 34 Israeli manufacturers and exporters exhibiting. In addition 32 Israeli companies will be exhibiting throughout the show. In 2005, the U.S. accounted for two-thirds of Israel's total polished diamond exports, which reached $6.3 billion.

Heading into the final round in Las Vegas, the top three riders in the Supercross were separated by only five points. All three hailed from Florida, which is starting to give Southern California a run for its money as the preferred home of professional motocross racers; Chad Reed and Ricky Carmichael were tied for first and James Stewart was just five points behind in third place.
