The TCU Lady Frogs (11-8, 5-3 MWC) lost a 61-50 decision to the UNLV Rebels (13-6, 5-3) on Thursday night in Las Vegas' Thomas & Mack Center. It was the Lady Frogs' first loss to the Rebels in five all-time meetings.

The Lady Frogs had no answer for UNLV's Sherry McCracklin down in the post. The fifth-year senior shot 7-of-9 from the field and 7-of-10 at the free-throw line to finish with 21 points, and she added 16 rebounds in 37 minutes of play. Sheena Moore added 17 for the Rebels.

Jenna Lohse paced TCU with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Ten of her points came in the second, and she grabbed five offensive rebounds. Vanessa Clementino chipped in with 11 points to mark her second game in a row reaching double figures.
