The Venetian Resort Las VegasVenetian Las Vegas is indeed an elaborated theme resort. It manages to recreate almost every Venetian attraction: climb on a gondola and float slowly on the canals with the gondolier singing a serenade for you, admire the Venetian-like architecture and landmarks.

Venetian Las Vegas proudly wares the name of the third-biggest resort in the world. And what a resort it is! Indeed, it’s just a replica of Venice, (a $2 billion one) but it pays much more attention to details than any other theme resort in Las Vegas. Venetian Resort re-produces at scale, fragments of the most famed Venetian attractions: Canal Grande, a section of Piaza San MarcoCampanile Tower, a part of Dodge’s Palace,Ponte di Rialto and more. All the fabrics are genuine (Italian marble, gold, Venetian glass, aged stone). Tiles, statues and painting are exact copies of the originals. Security staff wearing Venetian police uniforms, singing gondoliers, all those things make Venetian seem less kitsch and more resembling the real thing.
